Scientific Background
My project involved capturing tilapia and removing them from the keiki pond, which is the feeder pond for baby fishes before they go into the main pond.
Tilapia is a non-native species, and bully native species like Āhole in the keiki pond by eating their food, so removing them from the pond will help native species flourish and hopefully increase in numbers.
