I envision a future where the majority of non-native species in the entire fishpond, like tilapia, is removed so most of the pond is made up of native species.

I prefer a future where the fishpond can return to its previous functionality where it could provide food for communities and be a sustainable way to get fresh fish.

The tilapia captured from the trap were frozen and will be used for future biology classes with lessons with dissecting and learning the parts of a fish.
